Currently 07/29/2010 New CROCKDALE poster design! See it here: NEW POSTER 07/15/2010 I have been hearing the above question alot recently, so I wanted to be able to answer it to everyone. If Crockdale was a video game, it would be on "pause". The final edit is complete (which is more or less a directors cut), but the audio and coloring still need to be "tweaked", before it's ready for consumption. I will say, however, I'm extremely proud with the final product, considering it was my freshman foray into feature filmmaking with an insanely small budget. 11/26/2009 Happy Turkey Day!!! We wanted to thank all of our fans for being so patient with us through all of this craziness. So, to show our thanks, we have just posted another clip! You can check it out here: Enjoy! 10/11/2009 Once again, abandoned; but for good reason. I bring you, another clip for the upcoming feature film, "CROCKDALE": ENJOY! The film is really coming together; and we hope to have a rough cut, by mid-November at the latest. Also, there will be more clips as well...and I'm sure I can drum up more pics. I will tell you; I am working hard to get everything taken care of and my handful of fans satisfied. Just keep checking back and we'll make sure the wait is well worth it.
08/29/2009 Let me start by apologizing to anyone that has checked the website and found out that it had been abandoned since early June. Things have been crazy, but that is no excuse for not typing a few lines here and there. So I'm sorry. Anywho, things are starting to even out, so there will be many more updates...just read on: So, Crockdale is coming to its last stop on the "out of control production train", and it is a long time coming...for more people than just me, I assume. It's been an awesome ride with everyone involved; I won't name everyone, because it would take up alot of room (and I don't want to leave anyone out). I will say that EVERYONE did an amazing job and it would be a pleasure to do it all over again. Actually, I would love to work on any project with any one of the people involved. I wish everyone the best of luck leaving Crockdale. Anyway, so now, on with post production! The film has been well into the editing process since early August, so the end is in sight. With that said, we have posted our first trailer, and it can be viewed here: CLICK FOR CROCKDALE This trailer will be the first in a series of random trailers, which will be posted in the coming months. We will also be posting new pics, more prop pics, a cast list (with pics!) and more movie reviews for my handful of followers. There will, also, be another poster released for Crockdale...details later. 06/04/2009 So, the first two days of production are over! We had an amazing first two days and everyone was at the top of their game. I couldn't have asked for a better cast and crew. I've, also, met with the Special Effects crew and made a visit to their studio last night. They are creating some awesome stuff for film, and I can't wait to share it with everyone. Anyway, we've also uploaded some pics to our site; just follow the link (from the main page) that says,"Production Pics". 05/25/2009 Five freaking days away from day one on production!!! 05/09/2009 Auditions are complete, and we had our first amazing table read! Rounding out the cast are Patrick Flanagan, playing “Hunter”; and Kristen Wharton, playing “Miss Childers”. What I should do is; check the Guinness Book of World Records to see if I beat the “longest running audition process ever” (if there is such a record). We started at the end of October 2008 and finished last week (May 8th, 2009). Actually, we haven’t hired the last remaining “victims” and extras, so you could say it’s still going on. Someone needs to research this for me…
04/16/2009 Auditions, for the most part, are over! We have all the principal talent (except Hunter and Miss Childers) and even some interested extras. (Somewhat) Completing the cast is: Dawn P. Davis, playing Sarah’s Mother, Anne and Kenny Rogers (no, not “the” Kenny Rogers) will be playing Principal Marsh. We, also, have a schedule and should be starting production On May 30th in East Orlando. We should wrap production; the last week in June. So, we are very excited and nervous to finally see this happening. As for other news; we will be entering “Ginsu” into film festivals this year. We put a new trailer up on youtube for everyone to check out…since the full movie may never be shown on youtube or the internet. You can check out the teaser, here: Also, we haven’t really updated the website…and for that, I’m sorry. I will get around to updating it sometime next month…definitely before we get into production. I have been writing some movie reviews (although, I haven’t seen too many movies worth talking about), a new “vent” and other things. It will be updated.
03/15/2009 We have had a very successful two weeks of auditions and have some very talented people in place for the principal talent. Tim Rerucha will be playing the role of The Detective, Frank Torres will be playing The Younger Detective, Hillary Cardona will play the role of Sarah’s arch nemesis; Brooke, Kenneth Matthews will be playing an “undisclosed” role and Raye Teyssier will be playing one of the Stoner Twins. We’re still looking out for the role of Sarah’s Mom, Hunter, the Principal and Miss Childers; and we will be in good shape. As for other news, I updated our youtube page with a new video. The video was shot by my wife and contains (what we think is) EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena). Check it out and tell us what you think. You can find the “Ghost Video” here: Spooky 02/09/2009 Crockdale Tapes Volume Three is up! You can view it via youtube.com here: Also, we posted the full "Cat o' 9 Trailers" documentary under our channel on youtube.com, as well. Check them all out! If you navigate to PROJECTS and look under the Cat o' 9 Trailers section, just follow the link titled, "Cat o' 9 Trailers Full Movie". 01/31/2009 Crockdale Tapes Volume Two is up! You can view it, via youtube.com here: CLICK ME! Also, if you navigate to our Projects page, a link for the Cat o' 9 Trailers teaser is located there. Cat o' 9 Trailers is (not only a play on the Dario Argento title, Cat o' 9 Tails) Yellow Trigger Films first "test" project. It is a documentary about an evil cat that makes the Trinity Place Trailer Park; a hellish place to live for Central Florida residents. 01/30/2009 The Crockdale Tapes are up! Okay, so the first volume of Crockdale Tapes are up on youtube.com, here: CLICK ME The quality is crappy, but the tapes were hell to go through, and were in bad shape anyway. This is everyone's first glimpse into Crockdale and what we're basing the feature film on. Sit back and enjoy. Volume Two is on it's merry way, and should be up next week.
01/27/2009 If you despise Blockbuster, read our new rant under the VENT section of our website. Thanks! 01/19/2009 UPDATES, UPDATES, UPDATES!!!
12/03/2008 So, this is the time of year when things get crazy. Thanksgiving has just ended and people are starting to flood the malls and streets, in hopes to find the perfect gifts for the “red and green” holiday.
11/11/2008 The Crockdale Tapes are slowly being discovered. The first two are in our hands, but they need to be cleaned up. Also, before we show them, we want to make sure we have as many as possible. We’ll have to cut a lot of the damaged footage and just show snippets of our discovery. Hopefully, it’s enough. The Crockdale Tapes are going to be the basis for our feature film. These are going to be shown as web diaries about the town of Crockdale and the Sarah Fiction character. This will give us and you an insight into what Sarah is like and what her town is like. So, by the time the feature film rolls around we’ll know a lot about the history and legends of Crockdale and its inhabitants. We’ll keep you updated on the status of these tapes and where they will be shown, so you can see for yourself.
11/07/2008 Well, we're more than halfway through the "Sarah Fiction" casting process and have had an extreme turn out of people wanting to play the lead role. We have many people to choose from, so it's going to be a very hard task, but we're confident Sarah is in the sea of wonderful actresses we've already seen. As we go through the motions of looking for a Sarah, we've also come across some talented actresses that may be good in other roles too. More importantly, we may have a found someone to play Sarah's arch nemesis (as I like to call her) "Brooke". However, like I said, it's a process...so, some of us may be thinking different things and have to come to the same agreement...which can be a pain in the ass. Also, one other thing: I mentioned there would be a documentary showing everything it takes to make a low budget independent film; well, that is still in the works. We have some footage, just not enough to show you something, somewhat, entertaining and insightful. I promise. You will see something before the end of 2008. Overall, that is all I have to say for Friday, November 7th, 2008. Thanks again for all our support and patience, we're getting some great fans (of the website and film)already and I want to thank you all. Keep watch.
10/22/2008 So, we finished polishing up the script (well, first draft) and are starting to search for footage to make into the “video web diaries” for the very early stages of Pre-Production. Also, we still have not found our Sarah, but we are determined. We have to take our time with this process, because it’s one of the most crucial parts of the whole project. With that said, we are also trying to pin down things for the fundraiser. We have a location, a few items for the silent auction and we’re still working on much more. Additionally, we’re making changes to the website, giving it a slightly different look and we’re going to be adding a junk load of new content in the near future.
10/08/2008 In hopes to raise money fast, Yellow Trigger Films is going to be putting together a fundraising event to raise money for a good cause and help get our film, "Crockdale", produced the right way. Since I have too much emotional stock in this script, and story in general, I have decided that we need to make this project the best we possibly can.
10/02/2008 We’re cleaning up the end of the “Crockdale” script and scouting for our “Sarah Fiction”. Since this project is really close to my heart, we have to start the search now, to find the perfect person. Not only are we giving ourselves ample time to find “Sarah”, we’re going to start broadcasting web diaries to give you more insight into Sarah’s life. So, while we’re documenting and raising money for production to begin in Spring of 2009, we’re going to be giving everyone a little taste of what they’re in for. So, keep checking back for progress and developments on “Crockdale”. We will also be starting with our web video documentary, “The, Isn't This Supposed to be a, Shortcut to Crockdale” starting sometime this month!
09/13/2008 I'm slowly finishing up re-writing (for the 5th time) the old Cemetery Girl script, now titled "Crockdale", in hopes to bring it to life. Cemetery Girl is a long time in the making, and is very close to my heart in story and what the original has been through. After I finish the re-writes, we're going to start looking for the "green" to make it "mean". Since this is such a big deal to me and will probably be our biggest and most amazing project to date (which isn't saying much, I guess), we're going to keep an online diary. From Day One of the post script process, we'll detail everything it takes to get "Crockdale" on whatever screen will display it. So, all my handful of fans, keep checking back to see where we're at on "The, Isn't This Supposed to Be a, Shortcut to Crockdale".
